Family Photography

My goal in capturing this amazing time is to preserve you as you truly are. I want to curate the giggles, the kisses, the hugs, the tears, the smiles, and frowns. There are moments today that I never want you to forget; moments and things only family can share with each other. Let’s capture whatever melts your heart- authentic, raw, and organic moments. At your session, I want you to embrace the moment for what it means to you, let the littles be little, sit back and adore them.

My Philosophy

Over the years, my philosophy on capturing families has changed. Shooting family portraits year after year has taught me something- intimate moments captured create and convey a lasting feeling more so than any perfectly posed image. Your little ones are not props and should be captured in a way that highlights their personalities and interactions.

Emotive and Raw 

From the beginning, we will go over a styling board, tailored to your color palette, and likes for each family member. When you arrive at your session, we will get to know each other, then begin to take subtle action based “prompts” (not poses!) from me, and you will interact with each family member, in a way that feels natural and intimate. There is no pressure to get the “perfect” posed image, just the expectation of getting sweet moments captured.
