Newborn Photography

Part of my journey to newborn photography, is my obsession with those beautiful fresh faces. If I could have 100 new babies myself – I would! For me, my world changed in the best way imaginable when I became a mom. If I can repeat that new-motherhood joy and feeling every day by capturing your new addition. I couldn’t be more content!

Over the last few years, I have come to collect some adorable boho type pieces. One thing I often use is my rattan crib with pampas grass surrounding all around the crib. Although I am obsessed with all things boho, we definitely can create settings and props to help reflect your style. That is why, after booking, you will be sent a guide and a questionnaire. The questionnaire is used to pull props and wraps and get a better understanding of your style and expectations of the session.

When you are getting ready for the session, I have provided the guide for you to review. The guide is just a few suggestions to make the baby photo ready. When you arrive at the session, you may notice the studio a little warm and the diffuser going with all the awesome baby smells. I do my best to make the environment as relaxing as possible so the baby can be all snuggled up and sleeping…. I even have had a few dads fall asleep while I am shooting those sweet faces.

I encourage you to enjoy the moment, capture photos with your phone of behind the scenes or if you want to sit and relax with the oil blends I have diffusing… Also, if you want to hop in and capture some photos with your little one, I have a client closet for my mama’s that you are more than welcome to utilize.
